The vineyard is in the Mantinia appellation of Arcadia, on the foothills of Mount Mainalo, at an altitude of 650 meters. The combination of elevation and the region’s cool climate creates ideal conditions to produce fresh, well-balanced wines with aromatic clarity.
Covering a total area of 350 hectares, the estate forms part of the historic Kampa vineyard, traditionally planted with Moschofilero, Chardonnay, Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot. Respecting this heritage while embracing a modern viticultural approach, new plantings of Pinot Noir were established in 2016 on previously fallow land.
In selected parcels with aging and overworked vines, replanting was carried out with the varieties Mavrotragano and Negro Amaro, while vine density was increased in key Moschofilero blocks to enhance concentration, balance and overall quality.
The vineyard’s clay-loam soil provides good water retention and plays a crucial role in shaping wines with structure, vibrant acidity and expressive aromatics.
