Ruby red color with garnet highlights.
The nose shows very high aromatic intensity, clearly above medium. The wine is highly expressive, with sour cherry as the dominant aromatic note, followed by leather, tobacco, coffee, and bitter chocolate. Red fruits prevail, particularly wild berries, creating a pronounced forest-like and herbal character.
On the palate, the wine is round, rich, and full-bodied, with flavors of berries and chocolate. Tannins are clearly present, well structured, and supportive of the wine’s framework. A distinctly spicy profile emerges on the palate, leading to a long and persistent finish.
Food Pairing
Food pairings include grilled beef with pepper sauce, barbecue dishes with smoky elements, and slow-cooked beef. The wine also pairs intriguingly with dark chocolate containing more than 70% cocoa.
